Excited to share that this week marks the official beginning of my journey as a business owner—and what an incredible start it has been! Starting up a company has been a whirlwind of planning, persistence, and passion, and I’m thrilled with everything that’s been achieved so far.
Highlights of this week:
✅ Made the decision to start the company
✅ Officially registered the company as a limited business
✅ Set up a website, optimised for search engines, and listed on Google
✅ Updated my LinkedIn profile to reflect this exciting new chapter
✅ Developed and implemented initial marketing plans
✅ Set up CRM and accounting systems to build a solid foundation
✅ Secured my first two customers and issued my first proposal
✅ Landed my first order—what a feeling!
✅ Written several blogs for the website
✅ Joined the local BNI (Business Network International) chapter and connected with local businesses over breakfast
✅ Enjoyed a tour of the local co-working offices, The Foundry, in Poole
It’s been an incredible start to this venture, and I’m looking forward to continuing the hard work, learning, and celebrating each milestone.
